Data only helps when people can read it. You turn raw data into reports with filters, totals and charts, embedded in your app.

Lessons

  1. Report structure — what a report is, its eight bands, and how to plan one with a spec card and a Figma wireframe
  2. Data and totals — load JSON and CSV into a SvelteKit route, convert types, then add calculated values, filters, counts and group totals
  3. Charts with ECharts — choose the chart from the question, wrap ECharts in a Svelte component, feed it from the report and keep it honest
  4. Typst PDF reports — generate a paginated PDF from a template and the same CSV, with groups, totals and a command-line parameter
  5. Change and export — apply change requests in the right layer, embed the report in the app, export it three ways and prepare the exam
