Digitalització Aplicada als Sectors Productius

FP DAM · CFGS · 1r curs · FP Illes Balears · 1665

Every company you will ever write software for has an office full of computers and, very often, a plant full of machines. In six units you learn how they connect, which technologies transform them (cloud, AI, data, cybersecurity) and, with your group, you write the digital transformation plan of a real company from the Balearic Islands.

ID Unit RA Hours Status
UT1 Digitalisation and IT/OT

What digitalising a company really means: the office side (IT), the machines side (OT), and why connecting them end to end pays off.

RA1 3 Open
UT2 Enabling technologies

The tech tree of a digital company: what each technology does, which products and markets it creates, and what it changes in the plant and in the office.

RA2 6 Planned
UT3 Cloud systems

Renting computing instead of building it: service and deployment models, edge, fog and mist, data sovereignty, and a real price with a provider's calculator.

RA3 5 Planned
UT4 Artificial intelligence

What AI is and is not, generative AI used responsibly, which processes it can automate and whether it pays, and the European rules that apply.

RA4 5 Planned
UT5 Data and cybersecurity

From data to decisions: the data lifecycle, big data, a small data-science pipeline on open data, and how to protect it all, with the laws that require it.

RA5 5 Planned
UT6 Transformation project

The master plan: goals, areas, technologies, security gaps, data, integration and people, documented as a roadmap and presented by the whole group.

How this site works

  1. 01Read the lesson

Every page starts from something you already do, explains the idea with one analogy and defines every term: each bold word is in the glossary. A self-graded quick check closes it.

  2. 02Do the in-class activity

Half of every session is yours: guided research on real sources or a real IT task in the browser. You hand it in on Google Classroom; class activities are 30% of each outcome.

  3. 03Add it to your project

Each lesson ends with "For your project": the piece it adds to your group's dossier. Six deliverables, one per unit, each with an individual defence. Read The project.

AI policy: generative AI is not allowed in assessed work unless the teacher authorises it for a specific activity. Learning outcomes Calendar Resources Glossary
