Unit 6 · Digital transformation project¶
In a city-builder game, there is a moment when you stop placing one road at a time and open the master plan: which neighbourhoods get renovated first, which pipes have to connect them, who will run the new metro, and in what order the works happen. Your group has spent the whole year building the chapters of a real company's dossier. This unit is the master plan: you put D1 to D5 together behind the company's own goals, and you defend the result in front of the class.
| Learning outcome | Hours | Term |

| RA6 — Develops a digital transformation project for a company in a sector related to the qualification, taking into account the changes that must happen according to the company's goals. | 5 | 3rd |
What you will learn
- Find the strategic goals of a real company in its own public sources and write them so they can be measured
- Measure where the company starts with a real digital maturity self-assessment and decide which areas go first
- Check how the digitalised areas fit with the rest, and choose technologies from needs, not from fashion
- Find the security gaps of each area, define the data and their indicators, and draw how everything integrates
- Compare the skills the plan needs with the skills the staff have, and document every change in a roadmap
- Present your own part of the plan in 10 minutes as a group, and answer questions about it
